Business Support Officer

Hourly Rate : £14.34 PAYE per hour

Location : LU5

Job Type : Full-time temp till end of January 2026

We are seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join a housing association. This role is crucial in providing first‑time resolutions to customer enquiries and supporting our housing teams with essential administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering an excellent service experience to both internal and external customers, ensuring our commitments are met efficiently.

Day‑to‑day of the role

Provide responsive customer service via telephone, face‑to‑face, and written communication, supporting various aspects of estate services, tenancy, and leasehold management.

Accompany colleagues on visits to residents' homes as needed, addressing communal pest control, tree maintenance, and parking enquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Collaborate with housing teams, Front of House, Health and Safety, and Asset Management to manage local offices effectively.

Serve as the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries and ensuring all safeguarding concerns are appropriately referred.

Offer general housing advice, process mutual exchange applications, and assist with court applications for injunctions and warrants.
