Rate of Pay: £18.50 per hour

Overview

Nuco Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Fitter to join our client, a leading housing association, working on occupied and void properties across Eastleigh. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long‑term stability, a company van, and a fuel card. The ideal candidate will be a strong all‑rounder with a broad range of trade skills and a solid background in social housing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fitting new kitchen units, cupboards, and worktops
  • Ensuring precise measurements and high‑quality finishes
  • Adjusting doors, trims, and fixtures
  • Completing various carpentry tasks as required
  • Installing sinks, taps, and related pipework
  • Conducting minor plumbing repairs within kitchens
  • Wall tiling and splashback installation
  • Patch plastering and making good surrounding areas
  • Installing vinyl flooring to a high standard
  • Fitting and connecting kitchen appliances safely and efficiently
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to tenants and residents
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter or Multi‑Trader within social housing
  • Strong all‑round maintenance skills across multiple trades
  • Ability to work independently, manage workload, and complete jobs to schedule
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in occupied homes with professionalism and care
