NHS Fife affirms the importance of Spiritual Care, recognizing it as a core aspect of person-centred care. The Department of Spiritual Care has developed innovative models for delivering spiritual care. Healthcare Chaplains work in busy, challenging environments, managing multiple priorities, both planned and unexpected.
We are seeking to appoint a Healthcare Chaplain, based at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, working across multiple sites within Fife. The role involves working across various specialisms, responding to operational needs, or as directed by the Head of Spiritual Care. Candidates should have a good understanding of the spiritual needs of different belief communities and those with no faith.
For informal enquiries, contact Ian Campbell, Head of Spiritual Care, at 01592 729118 or email ian.campbell3@nhs.scot.
Note: From 1 April 2025, the criminal records check level may change depending on legislative updates. If the role is 'regulated,' appointment is subject to joining the PVG Scheme.
NHS Fife is committed to equality and diversity, encouraging applications from all sections of society. We support flexible working, family-friendly policies, and reasonable adjustments for disabled, long-term conditions, or neurodivergent candidates.
