Exciting career opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic pharmacists to join the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) Pharmacy team. In line with the Health Board's Clinical futures programme, the directorate is currently developing a range of band 7 rotations in line with our new clinical model. The posts will undertake a rotational programme of clinical specialities and will be based at Royal Gwent Hospital.

In this role you will build on previous experience, developing greater autonomy and responsibility whilst working within a multi-disciplinary team. Development opportunities will be in line with skills required to meet the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Advance Practice Framework and may include non-medical prescribing skills including pharmacist led clinics, quality improvement, research, and education and training skills e.g. pre-registration tutoring.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

As a conscientious and forward-thinking individual you will have responsibility for the delivery of a high quality clinical service and working within service development projects. You will work closely with and be supported by the Divisional Lead Pharmacists to continue your development in pharmacy practice and career progression. The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and excellent communication skills are an essential part of this role. Our patients are our highest priority so we welcome innovative suggestions for pharmacy practice whilst delivering excellence in pharmaceutical care.
