• Working with the band 7 OT to complete functional assessments.

• Work with the MDT to support understanding of functional skills.

Job description

Overview

The role is supported and supervised by our Band 7 Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

• working with the band 7 OT to complete functional assessments, create personalised plans for families and supporting them to implement these


• Complete sensory based pieces of work, using the sensory rooms at Evergreen House or Acorn House


• Complete Movement ABC assessments as part of DCD assessment


• Co-facilitate group based support for families


• Support as part of the assessment team for children with clear needs


• Work closely with the MDT to support the understanding the development of functional skills and sensory differences
