We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Residential Childcare Support Worker, providing care and support to young people aged 8-18. Our client offers a nurturing and developmental environment for young people who have faced significant challenges and trauma in their lives, creating a rewarding workplace for their team.
- Serve as a positive role model for young people, fostering meaningful relationships and supporting their personal development.
- Contribute to the overall care and wellbeing of the young people, ensuring they are supported to reach their full potential.
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in a residential childcare setting or similar environment.
- Experience in managing a team is preferred.
- A Level 3/4 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce is advantageous.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
The role involves working on a 3‑week rolling rota, totalling 56.4 hours per week (including sleep‑in shifts). The working pattern typically consists of one day on and two days off. Sleep shifts are included in the annual salary, even during periods of annual leave.
