We encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.

Be reporting to a Senior Product Security Advisor, with tasking guided by the Head of Consulting, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge helping to provide comprehensive and effective cyber security and resilience support to a number of customer delivery scenarios as well as on your own assigned cyber security development project.

Work alongside experienced IT professionals and engineers to analyse security threats, identify and mitigate potential security risks, and develop solutions to protect our products (radars, lasers, etc.), customers' systems and data. Within this time, you are provided the opportunity and are fully supported to work towards industry‑recognised professional cyber security certifications and qualifications.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a 2:2 degree in an engineering discipline, and/or cyber security discipline.
• A higher degree, such as MSc or PhD in an engineering discipline and/or cyber security discipline.

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team, and be able to make sound decisions based on information available.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels. Both internally and with customers.
• Core consulting skills – building client relations; adaptability to changing schedules; reliability and quality of task delivery; flexibility in working hours and locations; team player.

This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
