Flow First Line Manager - Night Shift
Job summary
A leading logistics company located in Derby is seeking a Flow First Line Manager to lead a team of Flow Controllers. The role includes managing warehouse automation, ensuring efficient work allocation, and monitoring operational performance. We're now looking for a Flow First Line Manager to lead and develop a team of Flow Controllers, ensuring efficient automation, smooth work allocation, and high operational performance.
- Lead and manage a team of Flow Controllers, overseeing automation of the warehouse and efficient allocation of work
- Delegate tasks effectively to maintain operational flow and productivity
- Monitor team performance and uphold health & safety standards across all activities
- Report and communicate KPIs, driving continuous improvement and accountability
- Proven experience managing a team in a warehouse environment; FMCG experience is advantageous
- Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as Blue Yonder and Matflow
- Ideally will have experience within an automated warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence effectively
