Job summary
A leading payment technology firm in the UK is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Treasury team. You will lead software engineers in creating solutions for managing global liquidity and enhancing customer experiences in currency exchange and payments. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering management, a strong grasp of agile processes, and technical skills in Java, SQL, and Kubernetes. This hybrid position requires effective stakeholder management and a deep interest in the intersection of finance and technology.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
- Experience in the financial domain, especially in treasury or liquidity management.
- Experience building applications that run in Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers to deliver services in an event-driven architecture.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Influence wider company architecture and build observability systems.
