• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 if applicable)
• Inspiring students to develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Preparing pupils for GCSE/AS/A-Level examinations, ensuring high standards of progress and achievement
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
• Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing effective feedback and support
• Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities where appropriate
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching English at secondary level
• Be passionate about literature and language, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills as an English Teacher
• Be adaptable, motivated, and committed to raising achievement
