Zusammenfassung
A leading health services company located in Glasgow is seeking a Tax Compliance Specialist to support tax compliance and advisory activities. This role involves working closely with external tax advisors and preparing various tax returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and tax regulations, ensuring compliance with UK and US GAAP standards. This is a full-time position offering the chance to contribute significantly to the tax team.
Qualifikationen
- Familiarity with UK and overseas corporate tax returns.
- Experience in financial analysis and accounting.
- Knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
Aufgaben
- Work with external tax advisors on tax returns.
- Prepare tax accounting and disclosures.
- Assist in VAT return submissions.
Kenntnisse
You will be working as a member of the tax team to provide tax compliance and advisory services including :
- Working with external tax advisors on the preparation of UK and overseas corporate tax returns for various companies within the Cigna Group
- Preparation of tax accounting and tax disclosures for statutory accounts purposes
- Annual and quarterly ETR reporting under local and US GAAP for the Group
- Assisting with implementation of BEPS actions (e.g. Country by Country Reporting Transfer Pricing Master and Local Files)
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of monthly / quarterly / annual VAT returns
- Providing support on other key tax areas such as withholding tax and IPT
- Assisting with ad hoc planning work and supporting key tax projects
