Job Summary

We are seeking a Part‑Time Finance Assistant to support our Finance Controller in overseeing the financial aspects of our business. This role requires flexibility in workdays to accommodate varying workloads and reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts pack, including financial statements, sales analysis, and KPI collation.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and reporting.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and control account.
  • Support Finance Controller with month‑end duties, such as reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, minimizing findings.
  • Assist with customer, supplier, credit limit, and fixed asset audits.
  • Administer and complete yearly stock takes.
  • Proactively identify procedural improvements.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required.

Person / Technical Specifications
