Job description

Our client is seeking an Assistant Management Accountant on a six-month fixed-term contract to support their international finance function through a period of increased activity. This FTC position is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience with international accounting processes, working alongside senior colleagues across HR, payroll and finance.

Location
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Preparing and issuing invoices based on HR and payroll information.
  • Assisting with monthly and annual management accounts.
  • Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments.
  • Processing receipts in line with compliance procedures.
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations.
  • Liaising regularly with HR, payroll and international teams.
  • Supporting the budgeting process.
  • Assisting HR and payroll with accounting requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to internal accounting best practice.
  • Producing ad hoc reports as required.
Skills / Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' experience within a finance function and be confident working up to trial balance, including accruals and prepayments. Part-qualified AAT/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) is desirable, as is previous experience using Sage X3. Strong communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure are essential. A proactive approach and the confidence to liaise with colleagues at all levels will be key to success in this role.
