Job summary
A property maintenance company in Borehamwood is seeking an experienced Administrator to support their operations. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft packages and previous experience in administration and customer service. Responsibilities include banking, dealing with complaints, liaising with third parties, and processing payments. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team focused on property management.
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role within property maintenance is preferable.
- Experience in administration and customer service is required.
Responsibilities
- Bank cheques and verifying batches.
- Process BACS payments and manage direct debits.
- Handle calls and complaints via various channels.
- Liaise with solicitors and mortgage companies.
- Take payments over the phone and arrange payment plans.
Skills
Our client, a well-established property maintenance company based in Borehamwood, requires an Administrator to join their team.
- Banking cheques/verifying batches
- BACS payments
- Dealing with all genres of calls in regards
- Dealing with complaints via letter/email
- Direct debit process – set up/cancellations/queries/collection
- Liaising with solicitors
- Taking payments over the phone
- Liaising with mortgage companies re breaches of leases
- Arranging payment plans with leaseholders
- Referral files to solicitors for further arrears recovery
- Preparing ground rent conveyancing packs
- Fees letters & emails
- Any other work as assigned by the manager
- A good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages
- Previous experience within a similar role and environment
- Have a background in administration/customer service
