Qualifications

  • A BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND, or HNC civil engineering qualification, coupled with experience gained in a design office environment.
  • Design experience in delivering projects across the entire lifecycle.
  • A working knowledge of Section 104, 278, and 38 adoption procedures, as well as UK planning procedures.
  • Strong analysis and technical design skills.
  • Experience working with residential developers.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator.
  • A self-motivated team player with excellent people skills.

  • Collaborating as a member of a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy across a range of projects.
  • Designing infrastructure for various developments, including drainage, highways, and earthworks.
  • Undertaking scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs, and project coordination.
  • Mentoring and supporting emergent team members, ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical and non-technical deliverables.
  • Contributing to work winning, managing project finances, and preparing fee proposals.
  • Communicating effectively and liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory/statutory authorities to ensure successful project delivery.

Your Role Will Include:

  • A working knowledge of Section 104, 278, and 38 adoption procedures, as well as UK planning procedures.
  • Strong analysis and technical design skills in AutoCAD, along with experience using Civil 3D, PDS, Site3D, AutoTrack, MicroDrainage, FLOW, or InfoDrainage for design.
  • Experience working with residential developers.
  • A strong written and verbal communicator.
  • A self-motivated team player with excellent people skills.
