A regional police authority in Birmingham is seeking a Superintendent to lead major investigations and improve service delivery. Candidates must have over two years of experience as Chief Inspector and demonstrate strong leadership skills. The role requires working across various crime and local policing areas in a 24/7 operational environment. This position offers an opportunity to make significant contributions to community safety.
Applications are invited from internal and external substantive Chief Inspectors on promotion, as well as transfer opportunities for external substantive Superintendents.
Applicants must be suitably experienced, competent and credible for immediate promotion to rank of Superintendent in the West Midlands Police.
In all but exceptional circumstances, candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' substantive promotion to the rank of Chief Inspector and have demonstrated effective leadership across two different command responsibilities at this rank.
West Midlands Police are looking for Superintendents in all areas of Crime, Operation and Local Policing. These roles all require 24/7 hour working.
