Our 2024/2025 trainees had to say about the ITT programme: Jibran, a former Langley Academy student, previously worked as an accountant. He is now bringing his expertise in finance to the classroom, applying his skills to inspire and educate students as a maths teacher. "Interaction with students is the thing I am enjoying the most… The behaviour of students is outstanding and drives me every day to deliver lessons to the best of my ability." One trainee said, "I have really enjoyed working with the students and having the opportunity to develop my teaching practice within a real classroom environment." Langley is a fabulous location, just 30 minutes by train from London and four miles from Windsor.
Nearby, along the beautiful River Thames, there are a host of other picturesque yet bustling towns like Marlow, Maidenhead and Bray. Classic English towns such as Amersham, Gerrard's Cross, The Chalfont's and Beaconsfield are also close by. The Berkshire and Buckinghamshire countryside is home to many charming villages, perfect for exploring and enjoying the stunning scenery.
Your training will be in one of the following secondary schools supplemented by placements in other schools.
