The role involves providing nursing support to children dealing with obesity, working closely with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering education for self-management. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Weight Management Service for a Specialist Nurse. (12 months maternity cover). This role focuses on supporting children and young people living with obesity through clinical assessments, medication management, and health education.
The post holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT)—including medical staff, dietitians, psychologists, and administrative colleagues—to coordinate patient care and ensure safe, effective treatment pathways.
