A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a strategic technology initiative in London. The role involves managing the implementation of a new technical stack for design and planning teams. Successful candidates must have a background in project management within large-scale environments and strong communication skills. This 1-year contract requires occasional office presence in London, focusing on delivery excellence and stakeholder management.

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a strategic technology initiative for a large organization. This role will oversee the implementation of a new technical stack supporting design and planning teams, including industry-standard tools and custom development. The design phase is complete, with development scheduled to begin in early 2026.
This is a high-profile project requiring a strong technical PM who can manage complexity, communicate effectively with business stakeholders, and ensure delivery excellence. In addition, the successful candidate may also be asked to manage a parallel, more routine project.
- Develop, track, and manage project budgets, plans, timelines, and scope.
- Manage project resources, including procuring staff and motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
- Partner with functional teams to define business requirements.
- Lead development teams in delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
- Define test plans and ensure products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Facilitate UAT and develop rollout plans and procedures.
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are followed.
- Present updates to steering committees and project sponsors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- PMP or PMI certification.
- Proven project management experience in large-scale, multi-platform environments.
- Strong people management and team-building skills.
- Ability to adapt and exercise judgment in a changing environment with competing priorities.
- Quick learner of business processes, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong risk assessment and management skills.
- Experience delivering technology and business application solutions.
This is a 1 year contract operating INSIDE IR35, with occasional office presence required in our client's London hub.
