As a Chilled Despatch Administrator, you will oversee the administrative functions related to the despatch of chilled products, including order processing, inventory management, and communication with transport providers. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment will be critical to maintaining our high standards of service.
- Process and manage orders for chilled products, ensuring accuracy in order entry and fulfillment
- Coordinate with the production team to monitor stock levels and communicate any production issues
- Prepare necessary documentation for dispatch, including delivery notes and invoices
- Liaise with external transport providers to schedule collections and deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of despatch activities and inventory levels
- Assist in monitoring and improving despatch processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with team members to resolve any issues related to despatch and distribution
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within logistics or supply chain management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with internal teams and external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
