22.5 hours per week - Permanent

Main duties of the job

Aspart of the team you will work directly with research participants in varioussettings across the full range of services in health and social care, followingstudy protocols to ensure participant safety and providing a qualityexperience.

Abroad experience, working in your professional role in the community and mentalhealth would be an advantage. Ability to prioritise and organise your workloadis essential. This is a hybrid role with regular support.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse or Healthcare Professional, currently registered with UK regulatory body NMC or HPC
  • Research Training (e.g. Good Clinical Practice [GCP], degree module informed consent)
Additional Requirements
  • Able to accommodate hybrid working, physically at home and periodically in office
  • Ability to travel throughout the Livewell Southwest Footprint
  • Ability to work alone with patients in their homes, in accordance with the Lone Working Policy
  • Ability to travel independently across the Southwest Peninsula when required.
  • Demonstrate a passion to be fully research-active and act as a champion to promote a research culture throughout Livewell Southwest and amongst its service users.
  • A full UK driving licence
Knowledge
  • Computer literacy including ability to work with databases.
  • Understand the significance of research and use of validated results to improve practice
  • Knowledge of the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Knowledge of clinical trials & research methodologies.
  • Understanding of data collection and data entry for clinical trials.
