Job description

Our Supply Chain function is integral to the success of our operations. Within it our Logistics team plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of essential supplies and materials, a responsibility that is particularly critical given the fast‑paced and time‑sensitive nature of the shipping industry.

What you’ll do
  • Importing and exporting documentation records and registers in accordance with compliance regulations and requirements.
  • Managing shipment requests ensuring accurate information and associated documentation are present.
  • Prepare all shipping documentation and process imports and exports ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and export equipment and ensure customs and export compliance requirements are met.
  • Verify that the local regulatory requirements will not cause unforeseen risks of delivery and/or unforeseen taxes and duties.
  • Supporting the procurement department in procurement and logistical‑related requirements within the Integrated management system.
  • Ensure shipping of all items required in the fleet takes place in the most economical and efficient manner to match project and operational priorities.
Eligibility and Experience
  • Applicants must have the current legal right to work in the UK at the time of application. Proof of eligibility will be required during the recruitment process.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
  • Sufficient experience in Logistics, in particular Freight Forwarding.
  • Knowledge and experience of customs and excise and shipping importation and exportation of goods.
  • Sufficient experience with MS Excel reporting, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
  • Recognised qualification(s) in supply chain management / logistics.
  • Experience with hazardous cargo will be highly beneficial.
  • Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, Data Entry, AS400, Transportation Management Systems, EDI, Microsoft Outlook, Warehouse Experience, Office Experience, Dispatching, Microsoft Excel, Logistics.
