Our client, an international freight forwarding company based in Falkirk, is seeking an Operations Clerk specializing in Import Export Customs to join their team. The position is permanent, offering a salary range of £20,000 to £30,000, with an immediate start preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
- Arrange import and export consignments
- Handle administrative tasks related to freight operations
- Assist with other roles as required within the company due to its small size
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in multi-modal freight operations
- High level of customs knowledge
- Understanding of tariff classifications and shipping documentation
- Good attention to detail
- IT literate and willing to learn; ongoing training will be provided
