A leading insurance provider in the UK is seeking an Operational Risk and Data Manager to oversee the strategic management of operational risks and ensure compliance within the COO function. The role requires strong stakeholder management and operational experience, emphasizing attention to detail and strategic thinking. This position offers a competitive salary and flexible working arrangements, empowering team members to balance their work and home life effectively.
Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational risk management and data protection? We’re looking for an Operational Risk and Data manager to join our team at AXA Health and oversee the strategic management of operational risks, controls and incidents. If you’re able to cut through complex processes; manage a broad range of stakeholders and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
You’ll play a key role in ensuring we have effective risk management within the COO function, making sure all operational risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated across a broad range of teams – this will include keeping action plans on track, supporting our Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and ensuring compliance with key risk frameworks. You’ll need to get to the root cause of any challenges we have and work cross functionally to fix issues or, even more importantly, prevent problems ahead of time.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Due to the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advert earlier than the listed closing date to ensure we’re able to effectively manage interest. Therefore, if you’re interested in joining us at AXA, please don’t hesitate to apply.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
