A well-established business based in Bridlington is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their supportive team on a permanent basis. On offer is a salary of up to £28,000 along with excellent benefits and the chance to work within a friendly, professional environment.

• Support the Finance Manager with accounts and general bookkeeping duties
• Process Sales Ledger transactions including invoicing, cash allocation, credit control, and maintaining customer accounts
• Undertake Purchase Ledger tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain cash books and complete bank reconciliations
• Analyse and monitor credit card statements
• Provide administrative support and create/maintain Excel spreadsheets

To be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will ideally have:

• A good understanding of bookkeeping principles and computerised accounting systems
• Experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar software
• Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• A proactive, flexible and self-motivated approach
