Sales Coordinator / Operations Executive

Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £27,000 – £29,000 + great benefits (negotiable for the right person )
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (100% office-based)

About the role

Dynamite Recruitment is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator / Operations Executive to join a growing team on a permanent basis. You will support a specialist team with operational duties while providing excellent customer care.

Our client has a family feel to the office and work very much as a team therefore although you will have your own responsibilities you will wear hats within the business and assist client from an initial enquiry through to execution.

Key responsibilities as an Operations Executive / Sales Coordinator
  • Assisting clients with inbound sales enquiries
  • Account management – managing key client relationships
  • Managing various enquiries with confidence – whilst taking accountability
  • Process sales orders and keep customers updated on their progress
  • Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Assisting with logistics
  • Onboard new customers efficiently
  • Maintain customer information using various databases
  • Generate sales reports and completing all round administration
  • Working with accounts to manage client accounts , including processing invoices , credit control , etc
  • Raise invoices and purchase orders
  • Chase outstanding payments
  • Act as a point of contact for billing, order, and any other enquiries via email and on the telephone
  • Attending trade shows

Essential skills & experience
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Good communication skills and experience
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • Adaptable to change
  • Able to multitask and happy to go the extra mile for others
  • Familiarity with Sage is preferred although not essential
  • Able to work well independently and as part of a team
