Job summary

A global leader in insurance is seeking a Bordereaux Management Analyst in London. The role involves processing bordereaux, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and Company Market practices including experience with Lloyd’s systems.
  • Watertrace (BDX & IQ Canvases) system knowledge preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process incoming bordereaux from Coverholders and TPAs.
  • Ensure data quality and compliance with Lloyd’s Coverholder reporting standards.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external service providers.

Skills

Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning)
Strong stakeholder management experience
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong experience in Delegated Authorities
Ability to communicate well in one-to-one and small groups

Education

A-level standard; degree preferable

Key Accountabilities
Bordereaux Management

Receive, review and process incoming bordereaux from Coverholders and TPAs in line with binding authority agreements.

Ensure data quality and compliance with Lloyd’s Coverholder reporting standards.

Maintain bordereaux schedules and ensure timely ingestion into internal systems.

Data Validation and Upload

Cleanse, map and upload bordereaux to internal systems.

Identify and investigate anomalies, missing data and contract breaches.

Resolve data and mapping queries from third party outsource partners.

Manage ELTO processing and audit reviews from end to end

Stakeholder Collaboration

Liaise with internal teams, including Underwriting, Finance/Credit Control and Claims, third party service providers, coverholders, broker and TPAs.

Work with Outwards Reinsurance to ensure annual RI renewal process is completed accurately

Support Underwriters in monitoring binder performance.

Highlight and escalate persistent data or performance issues.

Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly MI for internal reporting and committee papers.

Provide training to third party service providers and members of the London team where required

Role Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a bordereaux management, oversight and processing
  • Familiarity with Lloyd’s regulatory framework, including binding authority contracts, Coverholder audits and reporting standards
  • Strong understanding of bordereau types: premium, risk, claims and paid
Skills & Competencies Required
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning)
  • Ability to communicate well one-to-one and in small groups.Keeps others informed and updated, Ability to write clear, precise and well organised documents
  • Experience with data integration/mapping tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience, able to build relationships within the business at all levels as well as with brokers/coverholders as required
  • Strong experience in Delegated Authorities and bordereaux practices with good knowledge of Lloyd’s, FCA/PRA and other regulatory standards
  • Ability to act with due professional care, demonstrating sound integrity and confidentiality
Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in bordereaux management, oversight and processing at a senior analyst level
  • Strong knowledge of Lloyd’s and Company Market practices including experience with Lloyd’s systems including ATLAS, DCOM, ECF2, IMR & Crystal
  • Watertrace (BDX & IQ Canvases) system knowledge preferable
  • Educated to at least A-level standard, degree preferable
  • Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CII, LMMIT, LM1/LM2 or desire to work towards
