Project Accountant Permanent - £35,000pa + substantial bonus, outskirts of Manchester

I am delighted to be recruiting for a Project Accountant for a progressive company based near Manchester. The business is going through an upward curve of expansion and now requires an additional permanent resource to work on a number of major projects and also provide support on other projects within the organization.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller the Project Accountant will have a main role in driving a number of high-profile projects through to completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Budget / Forecast Tool Selection/Implementation
• Cash Pooling Set Up and UK roll-out
• Manage bank account switch and implementation
• Implement Shared Services Contracts review and pricing/costing
• Transfer Pricing documentation
• Inter-company Charging, Loans, Treasury Project (TM5 desirable)
• Concur PO system implementation
• Embed Deferment invoices into TMS systems
• Standardization and automation of processes
• Cash-flow model implementation, management, and improvement
• New SAP roll-in projects
• Additional projects as required

What do we need?

Applicants must be either Part Qualified or Qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) and be able to demonstrate the following skills/attributes;

• Very strong excel skills and the ability to work with large quantities of data essential.
• Knowledge of major Finance ERP systems
• Analytical mind with the ability to translate detailed and complex information into concise and coherent management information.
• Must be diligent and use own initiative to resolve issues.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the finance team and across the business.
• Strong communicator, able to elicit information from stakeholders at all levels.
• MS Office
• Track record of working in a project related area
