Job summary
A leading technology recruitment agency is seeking an Azure Infrastructure SRE Lead to ensure the reliability and efficiency of systems on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform. This role requires strong leadership and automation skills, along with hands-on experience in Azure technologies. The contract offers up to £500 per day for a duration of 6 months, with on-site requirements in Woking one day a week. Apply ASAP for consideration in this critical migration project.
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and strong software engineering principles.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive automation in large-scale environments.
- Hands-on experience with Azure technologies including .NET, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and efficiency of Azure systems and services.
- Manage complex, large-scale systems with a focus on automation.
- Support migration and enhancement project for an AI corporation.
Skills
Azure Infrastructure SRE Lead
Upto £500.00 Per Day - Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Location: 1 day per week in Woking
Duration: 6 Months
- Be responsible for the overall reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency of systems and services deployed on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform.
- Combine deep expertise in Azure infrastructure with software engineering principles, leadership, and a focus on automation to manage complex, large-scale systems.
- Support a critical migration and platform enhancement project for an AI Corporation; the migration is part of a multi-hundred-million dollar programme.
Azure (.NET / Azure SQL Database / Azure Functions).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and strong software engineering principles.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive automation in large-scale environments.
- Recent, relevant experience in the areas above.
- Hands-on experience with Azure technologies including .NET, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
