Job summary
A consulting firm is seeking a Managing Consultant for critical programmes in the UK's National Security sector, based in Cheltenham, Manchester, or London. The successful candidate will lead projects ensuring effective delivery while engaging with senior stakeholders. Essential qualifications include experience in secure environments and active enhanced DV/UKIC clearance. The role offers a salary range of £55,000–£95,000 depending on experience and specialisation, with an immediate start date.
Qualifications
- Proven experience delivering consulting, P3M, or business change programmes in secure government environments.
- Strong understanding of project and programme management principles (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile).
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders within complex, high-security settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver programmes and projects across the National Security landscape, ensuring outcomes are achieved to time, cost, and quality.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating mission requirements into actionable change.
- Support business change activities from stakeholder engagement to benefits realization.
