Pricing Analyst

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Analyst.

This vital position merges pricing research, data analysis, and market intelligence to ensure they remain industry leaders.

You will take ownership of refining their pricing strategy and manage their special offers portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Market Research - Conduct thorough market and competitor analyses to identify trends and pricing strategies that enhance our leasing offers.
- Data Analysis - Analyse vehicle costs, residual values, funding rates, and customer demand to develop and maintain profitable pricing models.
- Portfolio Management - Oversee our Special Offers portfolio to ensure it remains competitive, compelling, and commercially viable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with teams in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Procurement to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives.
- Risk Management - Identify pricing discrepancies or potential margin risks and proactively propose effective solutions.
- Reporting - Generate regular pricing reports, dashboards, and forecasts to guide leadership in strategic decision-making.
- Industry Monitoring - Stay abreast of industry trends (such as EV advancements, manufacturer incentives, and macroeconomic factors) and advise on necessary pricing adjustments.
- Tool Development - Assist in the creation of pricing tools, automation processes, and intelligent decision-making systems.

What You Bring

- Advanced Skills - Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, intermediate to advanced level.

- Communication - Strong ability to articulate complex pricing concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Industry Insight - Experience in automotive, leasing, finance, or pricing roles is advantageous but not essential.
