Job Overview

We are seeking to employ Community Nursery Nurses with an NNEB or NVQ Level 3 in Childcare to join our Health Visiting teams across various sites in Barnet. This is an exciting opportunity as we expand our Community Nursery Nurse provision.

Main duties of the job

You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills to work with children and families. Proactive communication with colleagues and partners is essential to address local health priorities and improve health outcomes for children in Barnet.

Good IT skills are necessary as you will be involved in delivering key aspects of the Healthy Child Programme. You will support service development and collaborate with colleagues and partners to ensure the delivery of safe and effective universal health provision, as delegated by the Health Visitor/Team Leader. Responsibilities include assessing children's development, supporting families with infant feeding, and child development.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme with a six-month probation period.

• CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education & 4 GCSEs, including English and Maths (A-C)

• Excellent communication skills: IT, written, and oral

Salary: £31,081 to £33,665 per annum, inclusive of HCAS
