A leading housing charity in the South East is seeking an Interim Chief Executive to provide operational leadership during an important transition. The CEO will oversee daily operations, ensure service continuity, and support strategic initiatives. This 6-month contract offers a competitive salary of approximately £130,000, requiring an office presence three days per week. Starfish Search is supporting a leading housing and support charity with the appointment of an Interim Chief Executive to provide confident, operational leadership through a key period of organisational transition.
The Interim CEO will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the organisation, ensuring continuity across service delivery, people, finance, governance and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the executive team, the role will provide stability and clarity while maintaining momentum against strategic priorities, supporting the organisation through change and positioning it well for its next phase.
The role is based in the South East, with an expectation of being in the office three days per week and occasional travel across the organisation’s operating footprint.
The role will be offered on a 6-month contract, with a salary of circa £130,000, starting in January.
