Job summary
A regional law firm based in Birmingham is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the finance team. The role involves assisting in the billing process, credit control, and being the first point of contact for finance queries. The ideal candidate should have some administrative experience and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. This position is office-based, requiring attendance Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- 6-12 months in an administrative role that has exposure to finance.
- Interest in a career in finance/accountancy.
- Happy in the office Mon-Fri.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assist in the end-to-end billing process.
- Support the credit control function in chasing any debt queries.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in an administrative finance role who is looking to develop their career further.

- First point of contact for finance queries for the business, redirecting them appropriately amongst the team.
- Ad-hoc administrative support with the month-end process.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills whilst being numerate
- Happy in the office Mon-Fri
