Responsibilities

  • Code and process invoices.
  • Organise weekly and monthly payment runs.
  • Liaise with suppliers and respond to queries.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Assist with office management duties.

Our in-house finance function is looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is based in our Head Office close to the station in Guildford. Here’s what we offer:

Responsibilities

As the Finance Assistant, your core responsibilities would include:

  • Coding and processing of invoices
  • Organising weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Liaising with suppliers and responding to queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Office management duties
Knowledge, skills and abilities

Essential:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence to work with people of all levels within the business and suppliers
  • Good knowledge of Excel
  • ‘Can do’ attitude
  • Team Player
  • Keen to pursue a career in finance

Desirable:

  • Experience of Sage accounting software
  • Multi-site/hospitality experience
