Regional Business Manager & Consultant at Global Search Partners

This is a senior Finance position based in Australia. As an integral member of the senior leadership team, the Finance Director will influence company direction, strategy, and growth trajectory. He / she will support the MD in strategic initiatives, financial planning, and overall business management. He / she will oversee all financial aspects of the manufacturing operations, ensuring financial stability, driving strategic decisions, and optimizing operations through financial analysis and planning.

Responsibilities include :

• Provide leadership and managing both the accounting and administration functions for ANZ business.
• Oversee month-end financial reporting, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and timely dissemination.
• Spearhead quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, providing strategic insights and driving financial planning for the business.
• Support to various business departments, conducting ad hoc financial analyses to aid decision-making.
• Lead initiatives to refine and enhance financial processes and data integrity.
• Manage transfer pricing strategies ensured compliance with taxation laws, and optimized tax liability for the business.
• Collaborate with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process, and implementing recommendations to further improve financial practices.
• Direct the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely settlements, accurate recordings, and healthy cash flow.
• Review payroll processes and disbursements, ensuring timely payments and adherence to labour laws.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience in manufacturing.
• Have a track record with managing a team, lead finance transformation and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
