Job summary
A specialist recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor for healthcare construction projects across the UK. The role involves extensive nationwide travel and management of subcontractors, with responsibilities including project coordination and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should be electrically qualified to 17th or 18th Edition and possess strong communication skills. A driving license is necessary, and the position offers competitive allowances for accommodation and travel.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and control the project from start to completion.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure project completion meets quality constraints.
- Plan and organize site logistics and equipment.
Skills
extensive travel required / living away during the week
+ £25 daily allowance when working away from home and fully paid accommodation expenses.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
Additional hours may be required on occasion to ensure projects are completed to deadline.
- Company van, laptop and phone will be provided.
The role of Electrical Site Supervisor will involve nationwide travel; therefore, the successful candidate must be happy working away from home each week, UK driving license required.
Our client is seeking a time served electrically biased Electrical Site Supervisor to join their projects team.
- Must be electrically qualified to 17th or 18th Edition – hand on duties
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Site Supervisor / Senior Electrician / Manager an advantage
- Ability to communicate with subcontractors, clients and other team members
- First Aid/H&S qualification an advantage, training provided.
- Time served electrician
The company works within the healthcare construction industry – hospitals all over the UK, which will involve working away from home. Working on projects between £50,000 to £100,000
- Responsible for the co-ordination and control of the project from initial start, through to completion. Within a detailed programme.
- Co-ordinate closely with subcontractors under their control and facilitate the safe progress of works
- Day to day management of Sub Contractors and operations on site, and ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time and quality constraints
- Regular monitoring and liaison with the Contracts Manager on the Master Programme and development of stage/section programme as required
- Liaise with the Contract Manager to ensure adequate labour and sub-contract resource is available on site utilising the agreed company sub-contractors
- Carry out tool box briefings to the site teams and sub-contractors
- Plan and efficiently organise the site facilities and logistics, ensuring all equipment on site is fit for purpose and only operated by appropriately trained staff
- Oversee the deliveries and ensure they are done so in adequate time in line with the construction programme and procurement schedule
- Co-ordinate closely with Clients on site
- Ensure all Site Documentation and Health and Safety documentation is in order.
