My client is one of the UK’s leading main contractors, seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on various projects within the High-End Residential Industry.

Based in London.

The ideal candidate will be intelligent, diligent, thorough, and trustworthy.

• Undertake regular site visits and, in conjunction with the Project/Contracts Manager, prepare comprehensive reports for internal monthly project reviews to demonstrate project and team performance, ensuring the team receives adequate challenge, support, and guidance.
• Must have experience with stage 2 tender works.
• Ensure that reporting surveying staff understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations, operate competently, and that continuous development occurs through performance reviews, training, coaching, and succession planning.
• Ensure all bidding and tender processes are applied at relevant stages of predevelopment, with correct forms completed and issued.

• May be responsible for one or more Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Liaises with customers, PQS’s, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Reports to Project Manager for project delivery matters and to the Commercial Manager or Managing Surveyor for functional matters.
