A leading automotive retailer in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the finance department. Responsibilities include managing estimates, payroll, and reconciliations. The candidate should possess attention to detail and a strong work ethic. A background in Kerridge/ADP is preferred, but the company is open to passionate learners. Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30 (37.5 hours per week)
The Accounts Assistant is the backbone of any finance department. You will be required to use your knowledge and skills previously gained in an Accounts department to help and support the whole team whilst also effectively working alongside the Dealership Accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial results are driven.

You will be a hardworking Accounts Assistant with previous knowledge of Kerridge/ADP or similar systems. Motor trade experience would be advantageous although not essential. We are also open to quick learners who are looking to start their career in accounts as we are always looking for fresh new talent.
Excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic and a positive mental attitude is what is needed to succeed in this position.
