Résumé du poste
A regional construction company based in Oxford is seeking a Buyer to manage material costs across various sites. The successful candidate will need experience in construction procurement and existing supplier relationships. This role offers a chance to join a family-owned business with over 100 years of experience in the industry and contribute to projects in key sectors such as education and healthcare.
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Buyer within a construction company.
- Construction / procurement related qualification.
- Bring existing supplier relationships in the region.
Responsabilités
- Ensure materials are delivered on time and at competitive prices.
- Produce and maintain accurate site-specific material schedules.
- Work with estimating teams to obtain prices for bids.
- Support site teams with material take-offs.
- Produce reports for regional leadership teams.
