Job summary

A leading retail brand is seeking a full-time Assistant Merchandiser for their London office. The role involves working closely with Merchandisers on Home Fragrance and Beauty for their biggest account. Key responsibilities include managing the Critical Path for various products, coordinating purchase orders, and ensuring accurate stock management. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing work from home one day a week.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in Critical Path management for multi-product areas.
  • Set up stock codes on internal Syspro system.
  • Keep Syspro system up-to-date with changes in prices and pack sizes.
  • Raise official purchase orders and send to factories.
  • Liaise with customers to ensure correct delivery dates.
  • Review weekly factory load plans to ensure they are shipping to plan.

Job description

JM Brands is looking for a full-time Assistant Merchandiser to work under two Merchandisers across Home Fragrance and Beauty on our biggest account.

The role requires the successful applicant to work in our London office 4 days a week, with the option to work from home on the 5th day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in Critical Path management for multi-product areas from a wide group of specialist factories
  • Setting up of stock codes on internal Syspro system
  • Keeping Syspro system up-to-date with potential changes in prices, pack sizes and delivery dates
  • Raising official purchase orders and sending to factories
  • Raising orders to send to component suppliers
  • Liaising with customer / submitting ER’s to ensure Editrack shipping site has correct qty’s and delivery dates for factories to follow
  • Keeping close to internal price sheets and ensuring prices on M&S PO’s match
  • Review of weekly factory load plans to ensure they are shipping to plan
  • Closely checking factory invoices for correct stock code and price details for accounts to process
  • Arranging bookings into customer warehouses
  • Attend weekly internal and customer meetings
  • Keep an up-to-date catalogue of products each season
  • Provide ad hoc reports to the commercial team when requested
  • Willingness to adapt to company growth with new customers and factories
