Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Location: Nuneaton (hybrid)

Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive procurement buyer our UK, EU, and US material sourcing activities. This role involves close collaboration with procurement, sales planning, and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials that meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and material planning processes
• Forecast material needs based on production plans
• Create, track, and amend purchase orders using SAP
• Resolve supply issues, mitigate risks, and prevent delays
• Monitor supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships
• Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely invoice processing
• Coordinate in-transit inventory with logistics for cost-effective solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement and quality procedures
• Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in procurement or supply chain coordination
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Detail-oriented with a proactive, team-focused approach
• Comfortable with occasional travel to supplier locations
