Are you a Food Technologist with experience in the food manufacturing industry looking to join a successful & continually expanding company with a global reach, in a challenging and fast paced innovative role?

The role would suit someone with previous experience in an NPD role within food manufacturing / production. Day to day you will work alongside the Technical Manager, Head of Innovation, NPD teams and development Chefs. You will be instrumental in delivering new products to market and play a key role across the whole process from conception through to launch.

THE ROLE:

• Delivering new products & customer launches to market
• Ensuring that ingredient/product information is accurate, up-to-date and consistent in the system
• Building relationships with the manufacturers, understanding capabilities and spending time on-site with their development teams to create exciting products efficiently, following the products through to the launch and beyond.
• Co-ordinating sample requests, overseeing product processes, product labelling, internal & external project documentation, factory trials, Investigating new global & local food trends and competitor activity, CI projects
  
  THE PERSON:
  

• BSc Food Science/Technology (or similar) with previous experience in a similar role
• Computer literate, particularly EXCEL.
• A self-starter who shows initiative and excels in multitasking with attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and natural can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A strong interest in food outside of work and awareness of market trends.
