Responsibilities

  • Owning and maintaining specifications for all raw materials, packaging, and finished products.
  • Producing accurate product specifications and approving artwork that meets standards.
  • Ensuring every live product has up-to-date specifications.
  • Translating recipes and supplier information into formats.
  • Creating factory line standards.
  • Managing pack copy artwork sign-off.
  • Investigating supplier issues to protect brand integrity.
  • Carrying out nutritional calculations and verifying product claims.
  • Supporting the NPD team with technical guidance.

We’re looking for a Food Technologist to become a key part of our Technical Team someone who can bring expertise energy and enthusiasm to a fast-paced growing food manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Owning and maintaining specifications for all raw materials, packaging and finished products.

Producing accurate product specifications and approving artwork that meets legal brand and customer standards.

Ensuring every live product has up-to-date specifications and clear line standards.

Translating recipes and supplier information into retailer-approved formats.

Creating factory line standards to support exceptional product quality.

Managing pack copy artwork sign-off and keeping due diligence records.

Investigating supplier issues to protect brand integrity.

Carrying out nutritional calculations and verifying product claims.

Supporting the NPD team with technical labelling and nutritional guidance.

Experience & Knowledge :

At least 2 years experience in food manufacturing within a technical or quality role.

Strong understanding of food safety, quality management systems and specification processes.

Experience using retailer online systems (advantageous).
