Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience of providing a service to patients or customers.
  • Understanding of the clinical administration pathway.
  • Knowledge of working within the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.

Responsibilities

  • Updating bed states and managing patient admissions and discharges.
  • Requesting and filing case notes and performing general admin duties.
  • Participating in the end-to-end patient pathway providing administrative support.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good understanding of and strong interest in the NHS
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail
Proactive and able to work on own initiative

Education

Good standard of general education to GCSE level or equivalent
NVQ Level 2 in administration
Vocational Level 3 in administration
