We are seeking a creative salesperson to develop and grow the robust Bioproduction market in France. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Sales for South-West Europe, you will manage our entire Bioproduction portfolio, including Gibco Cell Culture, POROS, Capture Select Purification, Applied Biosystems Pharma Analytics, and Thermo Scientific Single Use Technology brands.

Our approach promotes empowerment and accountability, enabling you to deliver top-tier biopharmaceutical solutions.

A day in the Life:
  • Engage with technical, manufacturing, and commercial customers at all levels, requiring a tailored sales approach.
  • Maintain and grow business within existing key Biopharma accounts through a consultative approach and seek new relationships with curiosity.
  • Lead Key Accounts involving key influencers in the territory, potentially spanning other global regions.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement a Strategic Territory Plan.
  • Work closely with the Technical Sales Specialist team to develop and execute sales strategies for each product area.
  • Use judgment and prioritization to bring in appropriate resources to meet sales objectives.
  • Operate effectively in a hunter-sales environment and collaborate with other teams to present detailed proposals to customers.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the territory to meet or surpass targets.
  • Coordinate with the Field Applications group to support evaluations and projects in the region.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, report lost orders, and gather competitive intelligence.
Keys to Success:
  • Life science degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proficiency in English and French
  • Proven sales track record in Bioprocessing or related fields
  • Knowledge of upstream and downstream processes within key biopharmaceutical accounts in France is desirable
  • Strong technical skills supporting Cell and Gene Therapy, recombinant Proteins, and Monoclonal antibodies in Process Development, Pilot Plants, and Manufacturing Sciences
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key accounts
  • Understanding of customers' manufacturing processes to suggest improvements
  • Strong analytical skills for sales data and technical information analysis
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
  • Ability to operate within a matrix organization with shared responsibilities
