For our client in the aerospace industry, I'm looking for a Senior Java Architect who can define a roadmap to migrate several applications within the enterprise constraints, present this roadmap to the customer, and guide an offshore team (remove technical impediments).

Job Description:
As a System Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution. You will collaborate with System architects, formulate technical features and user stories to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions and support features teams to meet their technical challenges. You will be providing inputs in creating the architectural runway and implementing exploratory proof of concepts. You will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Key Activities:

1. Deliver ARDs (Architecture dossiers) and be proactive and supportive in order to find solutions covering/reducing/mitigating risks.
2. Interact with stakeholders (Business, Data officer, Legal, project responsible, etc.) to gather and refine the functional and non-functional requirements.
3. Collaborate with domain architects (Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, Database, etc.) to build the solution.
4. Collaborate with Projects to build the roadmaps.
5. Follow and support Obsolescence guidelines.
6. Provide guidance and hints for Obsolete solutions in the landscape.
7. Review/challenge/support/adapt designs.
8. Attend design/architecture workshops/meetings.
9. Liaise with different development teams in order to implement/adapt target solution.

- C++ libraries

Contract: Freelance
