One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Security Engineer in the European Union.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join a global, forward-thinking team. In this role, you will help shape and operate a comprehensive security program, covering both corporate systems and cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to assess threats, develop secure architectures, and implement robust security controls. This is a hands-on position that demands a strong technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
Accountabilities:
- Design and implement security features for both cloud-based and on-prem products.
- Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response across AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
- Maintain and enhance security operations including threat detection, log analysis, and monitoring.
- Lead automation efforts for audits, compliance, monitoring, and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and product lifecycles.
- Conduct security reviews and contribute expert guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Support compliance and certification efforts with required technical documentation and evidence collection.
Requirements- 5-7 years of experience in security engineering roles, with a strong grasp of threat modeling and cloud security.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure (experience in at least two cloud platforms required).
- Proficient in Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
- Skilled in scripting and development using Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with DevSecOps methodologies, security tools, and vulnerability management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems and web application security principles.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with incident investigation and evidence handling is a plus.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or EO 14028 is advantageous.
