We are a collaborative QA team focused on delivering high-quality software in the payment solutions domain.

Our team works fully remotely, combining flexibility with strong communication to ensure project consistency.

We operate in Scrum, closely collaborating with developers and product owners to validate features, identify issues early, and ensure smooth releases.

Our role extends beyond testing — we contribute to test strategies, process improvements, and documentation, always prioritizing quality and user experience.

The role:

As a QA Engineer at PayXpert, you will ensure the quality and security of our payment solutions through manual testing. Your responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, tracking bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate features and prevent regressions. Your work will help maintain platform reliability, performance, and compliance.

• Plan, design, and write automated tests for new and existing features across payment solution components.
• Triage bug reports and help isolate issues.
• Represent user perspectives to improve product and engineering experiences.
• Plan, prioritize, and supervise testing phases across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with technical writers to maintain detailed knowledge of the platform.
• Generate reports and documentation.
• Study requirements, specifications, and technical designs.
• Create detailed, structured test plans and files.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities.
• Validate software versions.
• Follow up on anomalies in the project management tool, working closely with developers.
• Stay updated on technological developments related to our projects.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

Job Experience:

• Experience in manual software testing, preferably in fintech, banking, or payment processing.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress).
• Experience with EMV payment systems (contact/contactless cards, POS terminals).
• Experience testing APIs, databases, and web/mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for collaboration and client interaction.

Certifications:

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification (required); advanced certifications are a plus.
