A tech innovation company is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Infrastructure & API team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend engineering, API scalability, and the ability to mentor a team of engineers. Engineering Manager: Infrastructure & API
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure & API team, a core pillar of Morpho’s engineering organization. This team supports multiple internal products and powers a public-facing API that is becoming its own product, complete with strong SLA guarantees and the need for scalability, performance, and reliability to serve institutional-graded partnerships.
We want someone who leads and contributes technically, staying hands-on in design, architecture, and even some implementation work, especially during critical projects.
You’ll report directly to the Head of Engineering and co-founder (Julien) and work closely with product teams to ensure the infrastructure and APIs meet both internal demands and external, public-facing scale.
The Infrastructure & API team comprises 5 engineers, including DevOps & backend engineers that provide the data warehouse for the different products, accessible through https://blue-api.morpho.org/graphql. Their work ensures internal teams can move fast without being blocked by backend limitations, while the public API upholds the highest availability, performance, and scalability standards, including SLA commitments.
